Blog Entry #4- Rise & Shine

There are two different kind of people in the morning; the early risers that are up at dawn with the biggest smile on their face, and those who refuse to rise from their deep sleep and greet the day.

I'm definitely one of those "Morning People". No matter how late it is at night, I still manage to wake up early in the morning with a smile on my face and a cup of coffee in hand. Now, if the coffee were absent, perhaps that'd be a completely different story. It's a blessing and a curse, really. I love that I can manage to wake up so early and start my day but there is some days where I wish I could sleep in very late. Most of my friends think i'm so crazy for waking up so early every day- especially on weekends but all that means is I can have a head start to a productive day. (: Although, early mornings tend to correlate with earlier classes during the week. I'm not sure how I feel about that. I'm sure a lot of people feel similar to this though.
And then there are the sleepy heads that enjoy their sleep as long as they can. Which isn't a bad thing at all. In fact, I almost envy you all that can sleep for a long period of time. My sister isn't much of a morning person and she hates seeing me in the morning all happy and cheery. Her motto is "Don't talk to me until my coffee is gone", but I still wish her a good morning regardless. Sometimes she has her good days and slips a smile now and then in the mornings but it's rare. But then again, I have my days where i'm not the most attentive in the morning either, I guess it just depends.

  1. Preach! Then again, I ain't much of a morning person - at least not anymore. Sometimes I miss the days where I go to bed late and manage to be up by at least 8 to still have time to do something... I guess that's college life: Ruining sleep (sort of)

  2. I love waking up early and getting things done! I wish I had a normal set sleeping schedule but with my job, my shifts vary so I take naps frequently to get caught up with my sleep. I hate it!
